About My Book Art
Several years ago, I became immersed in 3D rendering. For those of you who don’t know, 3D rendering is, among many other things, used in the creation of three-dimensional video games like World of Warcraft and many others. But it can also be used to create fantastic 2D artwork, some of which is so lifelike that you’d think it was a photograph.
I recognized that, using 3D rendering, I could more easily create artwork for my books, not just the covers but also inside the books, bringing characters and scenes in the story to life for the reader. The old adage, “A picture is worth a thousand words” is still as true now as it was when it was first written. No matter how many words you use to describe what a character looks like, it can’t compare to actually seeing an image of that person. 3D rendering has made it possible for me to have more than just words in my novels and has opened up possibilities for the creation of other kinds of stories as well.
In this section of my site, I will be sharing some of the artwork created for my stories. Only a small number of the images are on this site since to include all of them would be considered “spoilers” for the stories.
